Therapy with Andrew

I help you access your inner resiliency, heal trauma, and create enduring change.

While I bring the fullness my clinical training, knowledge, skills, and experience, I also genuinely care about you, intently listen, and meaningfully come along side you in your struggle and pursuit of wellness. I open myself up to meet you where you are with compassion and empathy. I realize, I have never met you or anyone exactly like you, and there will never be another one of you.

Face-to-Face Counseling

When you sit down with me for an initial appointment you will quickly realize I bring more than a reserved clinical persona to our work. Counseling is naturally relational. One of the most important factors for successful outcomes in counseling is the therapeutic alliance, the relationship between you and me. There must be trust, respect, safety, confidentiality and so on. With that said, our time together is entirely about you.

Telemental Health

Telemental health is the option to meet for counseling online rather than in-person. If you are limited by time, distance, childcare, illness, or disability, we can still connect using a video software made specifically for counselors to ensure your complete privacy. This option helps meet the demands of a busy schedule and allows you to receive counseling in a setting where you are most comfortable. You can find more information on the Telehealth page.

If you’d like to read more about my approach, please visit our Integrative Approach page. See the Couples and Families page to learn more about my work with systems, and if you’re interested in online counseling, check out the Telemental Health page.

To check my availability and schedule an appointment, please use the button below. Our standard 50 minute appointment rate is $150. However, we offer a sliding scale based on need. Please don’t let financial concerns deter you from booking. If you have a need for this option, please indicate it when prompted during the online intake process and I will reach out by phone before your appointment.

When we risk sharing what hurts the most in the presence of someone who will not invade us or abandon us, we unexpectedly come upon within ourselves what Jesus called the pearl of great price: the invincible preciousness of ourself in our fragility.
